Milk Link agrees acquisition of Llandyrnog Creamery

Milk Link, the leading British cheese and dairy products business, is pleased to announce that it has reached agreement on terms for the acquisition of the Llandyrnog Creamery and its associated operations. The agreement will be subject to the finalising of all necessary legal documentation and is expected to be completed by Friday 12th June at the latest.

Milk Link May Milk Price & 2008/09 Processing Interest Payment

Having held its milk price for April, the Milk Link Governing Board has regrettably announced a reduction in its Member milk price of 1.00 pence per litre (ppl) from 1 May 2009. At the same time, the Board also approved a Member Processing Interest Payment relating to 2008/09 of £4.1 million, which equates to a 10.8% return on Members’ Qualifying Loan balances.
