Milk Link, Cheese, Cheese Brands and Products

Retailer and Foodservice Own Brands

Milk Link supplies most major supermarkets and food service distributors with both pre-packed and delicatessen counter cheeses. Most of these are sourced from one of our five award-winning creameries – Taw Valley, Lockerbie, Llandyrnog, Reece’s and Tuxford & Tebbutt. Look out for the Creamery names which are increasingly featured on-pack.

Tickler

Launched in 2007, Tickler is an award-winning extra mature cheddar produced at our Taw Valley Creamery in the heart of the Devon countryside. Tickler was launched in response to consumers’ disappointment at the range of extra mature cheddars available on the market – sales to date have far exceeded expectations.

Lockerbie

We have also launched a range of Scottish mature and extra mature cheddars and butter branded with our Lockerbie Creamery name. Consumers are increasingly demanding access to local produce with provenance and food miles high on the agenda. Lockerbie’s cheddars and butter meet this demand perfectly.

Tuxford & Tebbutt

The Tuxford & Tebbutt brand name is taken from our award winning Stilton Creamery in Melton Mowbray and is applied to a range of cheeses predominantly aimed at the export market. The name originates from the original owners of the site, Mr Tuxford, the Stilton man and Mr Tebbutt, the pork pie man.

The Tuxford & Tebbutt brand represents high quality, traditional British cheeses and is held in particularly high regard in export markets.

Tuxford & Tebbutt branded products include Stilton, mini portions and a British Speciality Cheese selection pack, which includes Double Gloucester, Red Leicester and Mature Cheddar cheeses and are exported to USA, Canada, Europe and many other countries.

Cadog

Cadog is a Welsh Cheddar and is named after one of the greatest Welsh saints from the 6th century, Cadog the Wise. Both a monk and a king, legend has it that he was brave, generous had magical powers, and was a successful dairy farmer!

Produced at our Llandyrnog Creamery, Cadog has officially become recognised as a premium, authentic Welsh brand, scooping several prestigious awards at shows including the Frome Cheese Show, the Royal Welsh Show and the British Cheese Awards.

Yeo Valley Organic Cheese

Towards the end of 2007, The Cheese Company entered into partnership with one of the UK's biggest organic brands, Yeo Valley, to launch a new range of family sized packs of organic cheddar.

The great tasting organic cheddar is made at The Cheese Company’s award winning Taw Valley creamery and is a major step forward in expanding and developing the Yeo Valley organic cheese brand.
