Milk Link, Corporate Social Responsibility, Marketplace

Milk Link continues to work hard to develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships with both its customers and suppliers based on the highest levels of product quality, customer service and innovation.

Activity during the financial year 2009-10 included our work with Sainsbury's to extend their highly successful Dairy Development Group programme to farmers in Devon and Cornwall who produce milk used in the production of its cheese. As a result, in January 2010, 97 Milk Link dairy farmers became part of a new 'Sainsbury's Cheese Development Group' which aims to strengthen the supermarket's links with dairy farmers, spread best practice and maximise efficiencies.
