Milk Link is the UK’s most progressive integrated dairy business. Entirely owned by British dairy farmers, we employ around 1,200 people at seven processing facilities and in 2009/10 generated a turnover of £550m.
Our vision is to build the UK’s leading farmer-owned dairy products business. We aim to create a long term, sustainable future for our farmer Members through:
- Enabling them to benefit from a secure outlet for their milk.
- Providing them with the additional margins available from processing their milk into added-value dairy products.
Milk Link is the UK’s largest producer of cheese, making a comprehensive range of award-winning British cheeses. We supply all the UK’s major food retailers, as well as many of its largest food processors and food service organisations.
We also manufacture a wide range of dairy products including long life milk and creams, extended shelf life products, flavoured milks and milk powders.
Our company structure is simple. We have a Consumer Products division which encompasses Cheese, Milk and Creams and our Export business. We also have a Milk Trading and Membership division which manages milk logistics, our milk powder and butter producing joint venture, and provides administrative and technical services to our farmer Members and suppliers.
